Mission

Mission: The Windsor Heights Foundation, a 501(c)(3) was incorporated in 1985 with a mission of raising funds to develop projects and programs to enrich and enhance of the life of residents of Windsor Heights and neighboring communities. The major initiative for most of the Foundation’s history has been sponsoring the annual free summer Music in the Park concert series, now known as Nights in the Heights.

The non-profit organization also sponsors an annual neighborhood ice cream social and provides grants to the city and local organizations that align with the Foundation’s mission.

Other activities include: 75th anniversary celebration, holiday lighting contest, and provides grant support to the City of Windsor Heights for July 4th activities and special needs like the newly inaugurated Windsor Heights Police Department K-9 unit.

Who We Are: The Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors. The Board is made up of Windsor Heights residents who have a variety of professional and personal backgrounds with the goal of furthering the Windsor Heights Foundation. Board members are: David Swartz, President; Kory Hirth, Treasurer; Aaron Cooper; Nicole Crain; Laura DeBartolo-Tow; Leslie Garman; Flo Hunter; Stephanie Liggett; Brian Tingleff; Brook Wade; Jim Wainwright.
